SCHOTTEL GmbH combines the propulsion activities of the SCHOTTEL Group and is both its origin and largest company. Since its foundation in 1921, SCHOTTEL has developed into one of the world’s leading providers of marine propulsion and maneuvering systems.

The company designs, manufactures, and markets fully steerable propulsion and maneuvering systems as well as complete propulsion packages with power outputs of up to 30 MW for vessels of all types and sizes. The company’s headquarters are located in Spay am Rhein, Germany.
